Christmas in Slovenia

Christmas in Slovenia is a family celebration. The whole family gathers together and prepares nativity scenes with crib, decorate the Christmas tree. Usually in the evening there is a special dinner (different with every family, no special food), but the dish that is commonly eaten on Christmas is Slovenian potica. At midnight people go to mass to church. Presents are given after Chirstmas dinner on Christmas Eve or are waiting under the Christmas tree on Christmas day.
